So I'm interested about this cabinet. I've heard some good things but mostly from the electric bass standpoint. The one review I got about an upright was from a reliable local drummer who said that it was the best upright bass amp he'd ever heard and that it had a great woody sound.

Does anyone use this amp? and if so what do you think of it?

I have the suitace with the two speakers on top. I love it, good sound, transparent, you can ear yourself because of the two speakers on top. I have the 150 watt version, could be a little louder for the stupid loud gigs.

I have one. It sounds OK, but not great IMO. I'm a bit disappointed, frankly. No 'balls' to it, really. I suppose if your bass is pretty loud you might be OK, if it's a 'brushes' gig. But IMO there are many better choices-the briefcase will barely keep up with a grand piano played loudly.

There is a lot of info in this forum already if you search a bit. I did a quick search and spotted over 50 threads that reference the Briefcase.

If you like what you read but are concerned about it not being loud enough, the Suitcase and the Super Flightcase might be worth an evaluation too.
