Question on Markbass amp and Microphone Blend with Full Circle

I'm currently in amplification upgrade mode right now, and am looking at a Markbass CMD102P combo amp to run my Full Circle into, to amplify my carved mid-century Mittenwald. The Little Mark II has a mic input as well, so I was thinking of running something like a Beta 57/H Clamp right into the Markbass, with the FC going into the Markbass 1/4" input, and running a preamp into the Mark's fx loop to control the FC blend.

Does anyone have any experience using mics with the Markbass amps, and can anyone give me some opinions or advice as to how well this setup might work? Would something like a Beta 57 mic work going directly into this amp, and how can you get enough signal without feedback to keep up with a drummer, and is there another mic that might be better I should try? Also, would a mic preamp be required to work with this?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer!
