Rev.Solo II versus Planet Wing

Can anybody compare the Revolution Solo II with European pickup called Planet Wing? It has the same placement and similar design except the Planet Wing is round and encaptulated in fiberglass. Also, it's little thinner (4,7mm acordind the manual).
Thank you!

i can't tell compared to Rev solo, but i tried the planet and found it very powerfull and very defined. Very "round" sound too. it don't need absolutely a preamp, compared to underwood for example..
it worth a try imho..
btw, i stay with my old Barcus berry...

I've been trying out one of the new planet pickups this past week and I like it alot. I normally use a rev solo or a full circle but I think the planet is going to be my first choice pickup at this point. It's simaler to the rev solo in it's very natural sounding but the planet has better low end and higher output. (My rev solo is the solo I). It's also easier to get it set in the wing without as much fussing. It's construced well from what I can see and comes with an easy on off kind of attachment for the tailpiece that's simaler to an underwood. I still like the rev solo and the full circle but I'm just liking the planet pickup more right now.

I have the wooden version of the Planet Wing. According to the Planet webside there's no difference in performance between the fiberglass ver. and the wooden ver.
I have had the Revolution II before the Planet Wing. My impression is pretty much the same as Kevinlee: some more output and some more deep bass in the Planet. As I have two basses, I like the ease of mounting/dismounting the Planet in few seconds.
