| I curently use a Sans Amp Acoustic DI, yet with a peizo driven semi acoustic bass geetar...and have used the Fishman with that same inst. and an urb ( I wrote the review of the Fishman for Talkbass, and for the Fishman site).
Both are phenomenal devices, and both will yield impressive results....this should be tempered on what your PU and bass is.
As someone mentioned the Fishman has some features especially worthy of your URB players (notch, HPF and mego high impedence) yet some players do not need that. With awell buffered piezo the SAADI works wonders (the blend cntrl is great for removing that pesky piezo "chirp"), and acytaully at 4.7 Megs the input is a high enough impedence to handle moist piezo transudcers.
The best option would be to try both.. and choose for yourself. BUt, that being said, I might lean to the Fishman for most URBs as it is more maleable to thwarting howl and low end anomalies, esp live.
Whereas the SAADI may work better as a recording device.
FWIW: I sold my Fishman to an Upright player here at TB....for my uses the SAADI works better, and I hope he is happy with it.
