Shadow SH-SB2 / K&K Big Twin

These are both similar priced pickups, has anyone tried one or both of these and can give me advice or comparison of each or both?

Thanks.

I used the Double Big Twin for a while, in combination w/ a Bass Max. The DBT on my bass generated a bright "bridge" type tone vs. a sound that I would call "thick" w/ more body to it. For my needs I relied more on the Bass Max to get most of my amplified tone, and I used the DBT for blending in some upper end bite.

That pickup performed a lot differently too when I changed bridges. So I guess how well it performs has to do a lot with the installation, the actual bridge, the bass, strings, whole deal. On my bass it was definitely pretty bright sounding.
