Shuttle 3.0 and Headway EDB-1

Hello All,
I'll be doing my regular summer jazz camp at Webster University here in St. Louis and they have a Shuttle 3.0 10 combo. Can I connect my Headway EDB-1 to the return on the backside of the amp, thus bypassing the pre amp section of the Shuttle, and driving the power amp with the Headway?

I haven't tried this with a Shuttle but I routinely drive my Acoustic Image Clarus SL by connecting my Headway to the effects return on the Clarus. I assume that this will work equally well with the Shuttle.

There is an aux in on the back of the shuttle that you can use. The effects loop should also work well(although I can't remember if it bypasses the EQ or not). The Shuttle does have a good sounding preamp though. I really liked the sound of it when I owned one. Makes me wonder why I sold it...

Thanks Adrian,

That will do the trick. I liked the Shuttle 3.0 when I used it last year great EQ but unfortunately, it's a single channel. It's stupid light. This way I can just take the bass and the Headway. We do lots of moving around between different rooms and practice spaces during the week.
