Hey, I'm looking to upgrade my pup for db, I was not a big fan of my fishman, and I'm looking for something that I can put on, and not worry about flying every which way, but also one that can bring out the natural sound. Because I'm going to be upgrading my bass in a year or two, install can't be permenant. Thanks

EDIT: I also need a decent amp, I'm going to be doing some bigger gigs, and I need to get the sound out, maybe one I can use BG with too?

Maybe a Fishman Full Circle. It installs into the bridge as an adjuster wheel. Or the realist, it goes under the bridge foot. Both are a step up from the BP-100.

Either of these two pickups is a quantum leap from the BP-100. If you do a lot of bowing then the Realist is a better choice IMHO. I've been using a Ehrlund Pickup and Preamp for over a year now, on my bass, it's exquisite. This has not been the case for other folks on TB.
