So, have you any suggestion to what amplifier match with the DPA? I currently have an old GK MB200. |
Tito,
You should definitely keep that amplifier, it's one of the best Double Bass amps that GK built. Ideally, your new amp should have microphone inputs, lo cut filters, phase inversion, and a phantom power supply if you are intending on using it with the DPA 4099 because it's a condenser microphone, or you could just get a phantom power supply and run it into the GK. IHMO it's really a mic that should be sent to a PA, using it with an amplifier is possible blended with a pickup, but it won't work as your sole sound source, as it could feedback. Both the Acoustic Image Clarius+ and Euphonic Audio Doubler have those features there are other amps as well.
