the whole concept behind the design of the baby blue head was that is was supposed to be a "flat response" amp. not voice specifically for bass guitar like most of their other products. i think many piezo's are naturally midrangey, so if you have that then it will be reflected by the baby blue. by cranking up the bass and the low mids i was able to flatten out the curve of the pickup somewhat... i also had to roll back the highs, but the tone i got was good. i think it's very dependent on your pickup since the amp is so transparent...

Larry,
You might went to check out the posts on the new LDS 2X8. It's well constructed, very DB friendly cab. Several players have them now. The consensus seems to be that they are one of the better cabinets for DB.
