SWR Strawberry Blonde

Hey guys,

I'm looking at getting an amp for my double bass and was recommended the SWR Strawberry Blonde. Has anyone had any experience with these amps?

Cheers.

I've seen several bluegrass players using these with good results. I've had a California Blonde, which is a gussied-up version of the WM-12, and it too was a very serviceable DB rig.

I use a California Blonde w a strawberry blonde to do my voice and bass, other tiems I use a polytone

the blondes work nice if you combo accoustic instruments and keyboards, very natural sound

try out a few b&k's too
