Exclamation URGENT first time live with X2bass

Hi there Im going to be playing on a small stage with two 15 inch peavy loudspeakers in front of us facing the audience a drummer and a swr goliath and ampeg head behind me and my bass and a guitarist to the left of me now im going to use my piezo pickup i have built and shelded with copper can anyone give me some pointers or maybe some stories about their first time so i can know what to expect

That's an awful lot of speaker surface, so you are going to have to be careful not to put yourself directly in front of that rig or you will feedback, even with a piezo. What kind of Ampeg head are you using.
You need to check what the input impedance is on that amp, if it's lower than 1 Meg Ohm it's not going to sound great unless you put some kind of buffer pre amp in between the pickup and the amp. The HPF pre amp built by FDeck is really affordable and works great. You can probably use the Ampeg EQ to smooth out the signal from pick up if you can't afford one. http://personalpages.tds.net/~fdeck/bass/hpfpb.pdf
