Using a GT-10B with my double bass

So a quick question, im enjoying using my gt10 as a tone shaping tool for my double, but i have a question about matching pickup and amp impedance.

the input impedance for the gt10 is 1 M ohm, and im plugging an underwood pickup into that. does anyone know the impedance of the underwood?

now i know a pre amp is a good idea for the piezos, and the gt10 has a preamp function on it, though im not sure about the difference between a digital algorithm and a real preamp.

is the 1 M ohm sufficient for the underwood or is there some benefit to an additional preamp, like a fishman platinum or sansamp?
