Weather Extremes and Gear

My collection of speaker cabinets and related gear continues to grow, and I'm having a hard time finding places to stash everything in my small house. I was thinking of building a locking cabinet in the garage to store them in, but the effect the weather might have concerns me. We don't have real wild extremes, but we have plenty of humidity and some days in the 90s during the summer, and plenty of nights down in the 20s during the winter. How do speaker cabs and PA gear tolerate conditions like this?

For years, I've kept PA gear stashed outside in an enclosed utility trailer with no ill effects (as long as there are no leaks). The trailer is watertight, but not airtight, so the humidity gets in to a certain extent. Never had a problem.

Thanks B14 - I was thinking that this hadn't been discussed, but I recall that thread now that I've re-read it. That thread addressed my concerns.
