What's a guy to do? Cab choices and the meaning of life...

Got the financial where-with-all to buy a good, high end cab. Already have an AI cab, want a good front firing one. So... Do I go with Bergantino, EA, Schroeder, Epi, or what? I tend towards the Bergy cause my friend has one and it sounds great with an AI head. Just wanted to see what the forum has to say about this.
Thanks guys!

edit: I use a Realist and an AMT, a bit heavier on the AMT side too.

Check my gear list in my profile, I use the Ampeg PB 212H. Such a wonderful piece of gear. I use it as an extension for my AI Coda R Series III with fantastic results. It is 4 Ohm, has 2 12's and a tweeter, weighs in at only 38 pounds, has a relatively compact footprint and cab design with a nice collapsible baggage cart handle and wheels, and it sounds really neutral. I use it for both DB and EBG. It is one of the sweetest and best designed cabs I've ever used. With the Coda, I have gotten enough volume for outdoor performances.

My 2 Cents

Well you really can't beat the EA Wizzy 10 or 12 for lightweight and good sound. I have their older cabs the VL 108 and VL 208. The Wizzy is the only other thing I've considered. Just waiting for the funds to make the plunge.

+1 on EA cabs... especially the M-line. I love mine with my AI head.

+1 on the EA cabinets.

However, consider having Don at Low Down Sound make you a custom bass cabinet... then gold plate it if you have the $$$.

I don't have a gold plated one but I had Don build me a 2x8 Three Way.
It's a very nice cabinet. I understand that he can now get the lightweight
poplar plywood that they use for the some of the commercial cab's like Ampeg and Epifani. So can build lighter cabs with neo speakers that are very sturdy.

I picked up one of Don's 2 X 12 cabinets and really love it. Those B&C neo 12" speakers really move some serious air and they are sick light.

+1 on LDS custom bass cabinets. Plus they are very cost effective.

I use a 31lb Acme B1 cabinet as an extension speaker to my Series III AI Coda for those rare occasions where I need more volume than the Coda alone. I mix a FC pickup to augment my tailpiece mounted AMT mic. The Acme B1 is a good tonal match for the Coda.
