BII, Pro EQ II, Platinum pro Bass?

Has anyone tried the Pro EQ II? It would seem a good "middle ground" between the simpler BII and the advanced Platinum pro...

Any opinions welcome!

Hi,
I dont recommend you the Pro-Eq II. I had one and for me don´t work at all, i bought it also because seems to be between the b-ii and the platinum... Simply the eq its not tailored for bass. I´ve used mine for 30 minutes to realize that, and sold it to a guitar player who really loves it...

I have the Platinum PRO Bass. I bought it because the EQ is tailored for the bass.

Unfortunately, it took a long time to get here and by the time it did, I no longer really needed it. So I don't have much experience with it.

But a couple of thoughts. It is very easy to use. There are quick setup instructions on the bottom of the unit. And the manual describes the features well with practical advice on how to set them.

To my ears it does colour the sound. It is not the most transparent preamp, but it is not bad either.
