Wizzy M-Line vs Eden D112 XLT

Folks, I am 95% gonna splash some cash on an M-line, but have been looking (on-line) at the Eden D112 which is only 3lbs heavier (weight is important for me) but much cheaper (another factor!)

Does anyone have any experience with both? or the Eden?

If at all possible, I would highly recommend listening to both cabs before buying. I owned an Eden D210XLT briefly. It was big, bulky and heavy for a 210 and sounded much better for bass guitar than double bass. I currently own an EA Wizzy M-Line, and it sounds quite different than the Eden 210 did and works very well for double bass and bass guitar.

Although I haven't actually weighed my Wizzy M, I suspect the published weight spec is misleading. The Wizzy M feels very light to me, and is very easy to carry.

Thanks, robgrow. The thing is, in Melbourne, Australia, I can only get EA gear through mail order, so it is hard to to A/B-ing. Some of the Eden stuff has to be ordered in, too (eg I was curious to hear the Nemesis NSP115 too but it would have to be ordered in specially, and the only shop that would do that is probably sick of me trying out every cab in the place and then leaving with my wallet unemptied).

I live in Melbourne and own a Wizzy 10 and NL210 cabinet along with a focus amp. I bought them to use in everything from small jazz gigs to LOUD gigs with a ska band.

If it would help in your decision making maybe we could meet up somehow?

FWIW I bought the Wizzy 10 through Bob Golihur, and bought the 210 from Bassgeardirect up in Sydney. I would have bought the 210 from Bob too but the postage is prohibitive.
