Woods and Fdeck

I have a Walter Woods head.

Would an Fdeck be beneficial?

If so- how would you implement- in line of via effects loop?

Thanks,
-Pmad

fdeck's HPF-Pre works very well with a Walter Woods amp. You can use it in the effects loop or between the pickup and the amp.

It all depends on the impedance load that your pickup responds to best. If it's the load that the woods pre presents, use the fdeck pre in the FX loop. If it's the fdeck load, then put it up front.

The only way to know is to try one. The good news is that if you don't like the 10 megOhm impedance out front with the Realist, the HP filter would still be very useful in the FX loop.

PMadBass,
I've used the HPF with both the MI-400-8 and a Electroacoustic Walter Woods Amps. Although, Walter's amps load at 1 megohm so you really don't necessarily need the 10 megohm buffer in the HPF I find that it's high pass filter and phase shift can be very useful in boomy rooms.
