And how did you approach writing it? did you come up with the roots first, then harmonics and such? or Vice Versa.

I can only guess that he approached writing this song with the help of a rare species of lifeform found near planet..ooh lets say Zarbonoff 6. Because, and please Michael correct me if i'm wrong, no human can write something both so beautiful and so different on a bass.
