Out of Print Recordings

Michael,

I am finding that your back catalogue stuff is hard to find. For Thonk, in particular, there are only a few "speculatively priced" used copies on Amazon. Your website (neither the old nor the new) seems to have an ordering capability.

Can you recommend a method to purchase any of your out-of-print stuff, or are you perhaps beholden to the labels appetite (or lack thereof) to distribute at this point?

So sorry about that WJ. Those records were done back in the day when we signed away our ownership of the masters to the record companies that funded the projects and they are owned by BMG/Sony at this point. I've tried a few times to arrange for a re-release or to buy them back, but no luck. I assume they'll make them available someday (iTunes maybe?).

That's what I figured. Thanks for responding; I'll keep my eyes out for the downloadable copy that will show up sooner or later.
