Pickup question for Michael Manring

I thing we talked a little about this at your show in Fredricksburg,VA (the one you played with your brother). You had said your MM was custom made for you by Bill. Without giving too much away, is there any big difference between urs and the ones he is selling ot the general public? I have been interested in the new CB series, but I have been kinda undecided on the whole thing.

The Musicman-style Bartolini pickup in my Hyperbass is quad (i.e., there’s a separate output for each string) and I believe that means it was kind of a custom job, but other than that, I think it’s pretty similar to all the MM style pickups Bill makes.
