What kind of sound equipment to use?

I'm about to start a band that uses alot of bass solo in it, not really slapping just abunch of smooth lines, we're going for kindof a techno/modern instrumental sound that uses alot of bass if you get what I'm saying, if you need an example of a song I'll give you one, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to use an example or not so I won't right now.

But I was wondering what brand of Amps/cabs I should use for a sound like this? (a suggestion for cables would be good too) I am trying to stay around a 400 dollar budget for cabs and maybe a 900-1000 dollar budget for a main amp,
