Amateur recording for youtube. What to use?

I have an Iphone 5, a Samsung series 7 Blue notebook.

I can't decide whether I want to record through the Phone or the laptop. Now just to start on budget, I can't afford to get an interface(Or at least one that I want haha SANSAMP) so I want to record for under 50 euro. I want to to sound decent, I know I won't be getting SUPER high quality, but I want a decent affordable sound.

I have heard of a few recording devices for the Iphone, the one that sticks out is the Irig(probably because of brand name). I haven't seen them in the shops to try them out though. I'm aware that I can get a 1/4-1/8 adapter and record through the computer. Not sure if it sounds as good as other options.

What would you guys recommend? I'm going to shoot the video with my phone, as the camera is decent quality, and then sync the audio and video using vegas, would I be better off getting something to record through the laptop in that case?

Edit- There is no sound card on the laptop, sound runs off the motherboard. In case that gets asked haha.

iRig. $25-$35 American. I don't know how that converts to Euros. But you plug it into the phone and plug your bass into that and also headphones and you can record into garage band.
