I own Guitar Rig 3.

Is Ampeg SVX really worth it?

Should I get it?

Ive got both and i use guitar rig!

Unless you crave options, as guitar rig only has one bass amp, id say stick with guitar rig.

Depends what you're after.

GR is more flexible with MIDI control in real time , more FX etc.. a lot better for "live" playing.
But SVX has more bass amp simulation.

While the simulations on SVX are really good, i really only used 2 of them, maybe 3 of the cabs, and none of the fx. I used the b15 and the classic. Your better off putting the money into a REDDI or something like that. It is a good program though.
