Im debating on whether or not to get the ART Tube MP Studio V3 preamp or the Behringer Tube Ultragain MIC200 preamp to use for recording. Has anyone here had any expirience with either of these? |

The ART is thicker and fatter with less note definition and not quite as even. Very tubey though. The Behringer is less tubey, less bassy, but much more defined and even, with more midrange punch but it's a little harsher than the ART.

The Behringer honestly sounds good, but it sounds more like a regular mixer channel than a tube preamp. It's all about the sound you're going for...
