Audio interfaces Any recommendations on inexpensive interfaces. I', not looking to spend over about $100 and want at least two ins. Thanks. |
M-audio makes some decent cheap stuff but for two ins I think it'll probably run about $150. |
^^ Agree. Why multiple inputs? Doing live tracking? If you have a small mixer you could make use of a cheaper, single input interface. |
Check out the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. Should do everything you need and run about $125 new. |
+1 from a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 user. Wally |
Steinberg CI1. I'm having an issue with it not turning on and I'll check back with you to tell you if it's my fault or if the device has a problem. I got mine for $80 at MF |
Lot of choices at that price point. Can go with a pedal that has USB in like the Zoom 2.1u (used will hit your price), or you can go with a Lexicon Alpha, ART Pre USB, M-Audio, or TASCAM. |
I have NI KA6 but at this price this is the answer IMO Quote:

I have a Lexicon Lambda. It's USB and plug n play, so you don't need special software to run it. Works great. They go for $100 to 150. PS. I have a Presonus FireWire Studio - needed more ports - but I keep the Lex around for its portability. |
It's about $250 but Tascam's US1800 is pretty awesome. |
