Avalon, WOW!

I recently got the chance to use an Avalon Tube Channel while recording in a studio here in VA. I just plugged straight in to the bad boy.Eq flat, a little comp., no amp, mike, anything else. The tone I got was unbelievable! It made my thumb bass growl in a big way. Go avalon! I would like to run one of these on a gig.
