| You generally want to listen to monitors before buying. You can do a search online for the best prices, but also check shipping since they are heavy.
I recently replaced a pair of Tannoy C8s with a pair of KRK RP8s and am very happy. I auditioned lots of sets at GC and ended up purchasing there because the sales person worked with me on hooking up several different sets of monitors to compare.
