Beyerdynamic rules...

Hey gang. Just an open suggestion to anyone interested in their headphone setups for their studios. If you're looking for some killer headphones for mixing/recording, give the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro headphones a try. I just got my second pair after having my others for close to 11 years, and they never cease to amaze me. Great isolation, comfortable enough to wear for hours on end, and a pretty even response across the board. Anyone else here a Beyerdynamic fan/user?

Yes they do.

M88, M201, M160, M380. Those are all near the top of my list of affordable microphones that sound really, really good.

+1

especially the vintage M88's

201 has to be one of the most under the radar mics too, not my choice for bass, but a great tool to have in the collection

I bought a set in july and have used them for hours every day. I agree they are awsome sounding.

I've been using DT770's and DT990's for years as well. Nothing beats them for ear comfort, listening comfort (i.e. not fatiguing), and relatively flat full range presentation with lows that are deep and clear but not hyped.

I'd like to get a set of Beyer cans too but I'm another big fan Beyer Dynamic mics. So far I've got:
M-700
M-600-(sound star III)
M-88TG
M-69
M-400 soundstar-II (a pair)
TGX-480

Never used the headphones, but I'm a big fan of Beyer mics. Can you guess which is my favorite (not for bass, though)?
