Lots of praise for being a $200 mic. I'm sure it will be great as low end mics have really come up in terms of quality over the last few years. I'm sure it will work fine for your purposes, but if it were me and I only had one mic, it would be a good dynamic mic before a low end condenser. Find a used Shure SM7B in good condition for around $200-250 and you'll be set. The removable wind screen makes for a much more versatile mic than you'd think. Only one polar pattern, but the variable filters make up for enough that you won't be wishing you had more options.
