Buzzing When Recording with Webcam Plugged In

Hey everyone, I recently bought a Logitech HD C310 Webcam and for some reason, when I am recording into my M-Audio USB unit and when the webcam is plugged in, there is a static noise which includes pops on the recorded track. When it isn't plugged in, it's not there.
Any ideas on how to fix this issue so I can record and play at the same time?

Some blocks of USB ports are nothing more than a USB hub. Thus one device on the hub can steal bandwidth from other devices on the same hub.

Follow the USB connector from the connector on the front or back and make sure it connects to the Motherboard - 1 to 1. One PC I have, all four front ports are merely a hub off one MotherBoard connector. The back ports are separate to the motherboard.

For example if you have your webcam plugged into the front USB ports, then plug the M-Audio into the back port and try it.

Try the DPC latency checker

Some of that stuff can be cable voodoo. All USB cables are not equal. I have one single coveted USB cable that doesn't pass the usual squeal I hear from any other I have used. Never tried a heavy shielded pricy cable.
