Cable for recording from line out

I have a Fender Rumble 100. It has a XLR Line out. I want to connect it to my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.

Should I use a XLR-XLR cable, or a XLR-jack cable? Would one cable give a better sound than the other? Can one of them be used to more other things than the other?
