Cable Supplies?

Does anyone know of somewhere I can buy the materials (connectors, wire) to make XLR cables? My studio budget is very tight and I know this is much cheaper than buying cables.

Try ebay.

Tho there will probably be cheaper places about, i know of some over here, but, thats the UK, so not much use.

Try and go for Neutrik connectors

Redco Audio is a great source, as is Markertek.

I've had good luck with both, but use Redco more often.

Be sure to tell them what your budget is. You can get decent cable for less than Canare L4E6S (starquad), but if you can swing it the starquad makes a lifetime cable.
