cafe walter + 595's?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just recently grabbed a cafe walter headphone amp off TB and now I'm in the market for a nice set of headphones. I had a brief scan of the webz and TB with the possible final choice being the sennheiser 595's, I was wondering if any one had any experience with them or could recommend a better product for the same doh-re-mi! My bass is a Sad metro RV-5 if that helps any type of judgment.
Cheers Rayle

Hey man, I had the same predicament a while ago, you know which cans I got. The Cafe is a bit different in that it has recommended ohmages, so I'd base your choice on that. I don't really like the 595's, they're just too bassy for me (I know, I know, but I like to hear everything evenly).

Cafe Walter

I have a cafe Walter (I love it!) and I've been very satisfied with the sound coming out of my Grado SR80's. They aren't particularly expensive (I think they are still around $100.00), they are ugly as sin, but they sound better than anything else I could find in their price range to me!
One waring about Walter's excellent toys...they put out EXACTLY WHAT YOU PUT IN!!
