As a committed windows user over the past decade i figured it was time to get a mac. I recorded by audio via a behringer mixing desk and then through a phono to USB adaptor (UCA200) im not at all confident with mac yet. does anyone know how i can get this configuration to work with garage band? and then logic pro 8?

Cheers

Dave

When you create a new track, do you select Real Instrument? And, is the Monitor on? Also, in System Preferences (the little icon in the dock that looks like a light switch...if you didnt know already) is the Sound choice Line In?

No problem...I have been working on Macs since the late 80's and I still couldnt hear my bass when I plugged it into GarageBand for a few days (and, when I finally figured it out, it was one of those "midnight after about 6 beers never going to remember how I fixed it if I needed to" moments) Luckily, I wrote it down.
