Can Garageband do VST?

you can download a whole slew of AU effects, but can GB handle VST effects?

unfortunatly, i think that should be something built in. i love my garageband, but i'd like to hav ea lot more plug in options without spending more money.

even logic pro doesnt handle vsts natively.

yeah i saw that after i posted this...that kinda bums me out...oh well, i have a lot of AUs to use that are very cool

but on the plus side a lot of great plug ins are being ported to au, so i think give it a little time and it'll all be sorted.

i had found a site of all free ones, but i can't find it again, but http://www.kvraudio.com/ has a lot of cool stuff on it. i'll keep searching around for that other site.
