i have some sampling on a cd in *.cda files, i would like to change them in *.wav files and record them on my hard drive.
I use cakewalk 8 and sound forge.

Your CD seems to be an ordinary audio cd.
The most elegant way is to use a alternate cdfs.vxd for Win9x that shows cd tracks as wave file in explorer http://www.sonicspot.com/alternatecd...tecdfsvxd.html - just copy it to X:\Windows\System\Iosubsys\ and reboot. Then you'll be able to open them with Soundforge directly. Wavelab is able to extract from cd anyway.
Or use any audio ripping program - look at: http://www.zdnet.com
