Anyone have or have used one of these gizmos? If so, your thoughts?

it's a truly amazing piece of gear!

i just took delivery of mine on Friday and had a chance to get a feel for it this weekend--it was just what i needed, a very simple and effective way to record directly into garageband with no fuss, plus the form factor and portability are unmatched...and the sound is amazing--very clear, rich and articulate

i highly recommend it, the guys at Centrance got it right!

I picked up one of these used from Musician's Friend and returned it. The output was too low with my passive. Too get around this, I ran it into a preamp but then you lose the whole appeal of the uint (form factor/simplicity).

Michael Goodman here from CEntrance. Curious to know what instrument you have and what pickup. If we need to add gain, we will. We want you to be happy. Feel free to post or pm me.
