I went out to my Local Long and McQuade over the holidays and bought myself the
"Stealth Plug" by IK Multimedia, I have been considering lately.
I got it home, installed the AmpliTube software and plugged it in. I have to say it sounds GREAT, has 0 latency, and best of all it was just over 100%!!
I don't know that you could use it to do serious recording but it's great for laying a bass or guitar track down and having a decent file to work with. It's also super portable which I'm pretty happy about because I am often at my girlfriends place and it sucks lugging around a small amp.
I would say the Stealth Plug is great for anyone who needs a inexpensive, portable and easy option for practicing and non-pro level recording.
