Dirt Cheap, Bottom of the Barrel DI/Sansamp

I need an absolutely cheap DI that I can use to boost my guitar player's signal to my firewire interface. Since he is a guitar player, he won't be contributing any money to my recording setup (which exists for the purpose of recording our band) so I just need something cheap that will get the job done. Any suggestions?

It says its for Macs but all it does is boost the level of whatever you plug into it so I cant see why it wouldn't work.

You can find cheaper than that. ART has a tube pre for $25 that should work.

ArtTube MP, Behringer BDI-21. The Art tubes are available on Ebay and the Behringers are only about $29.

You want cheap?
If you can scrounge up an old tape recorder of some type for free, It'd probably work ok as a line-amp too.

I got the Art Tube MP Studio. It sounds great, adds nice crunch and sustain to the guitar. Thanks for the advice everyone!
