Easiest and Cheapest Way T Hook My Bass Up To My PC and Be Able to Hear Myself?

Hey Guys,
Happy Holidays to you all!
Just as the title says. I'm thinking about doing some online lessons, probably on youtube. What is the easiest way for me to watch videos and have my bass plugged into my PC but not necessarily using headphones? I have a decent set of PC speakers with a subwoofer and my Mac is currently running Garageband if that helps, Thank you in advance,

I forgot to mention I also have a Line 6 Bass Pod XT which has USB connectivity?

Garage Band can help you very well with this. Just directly plug in you bass in to your computer and you'll be fine

The pod can be used as an interface via USB.

Plug the pod into your computer and you're set. Or use a jack adapter and plug the bass into the microphone input.
