Eden Monitors

I saw these via a link in another thread. I must agree with the guy that posted the link, they sure do look nice and being Eden they are probably pretty damn nice.

Anyway, does anyone know how they are, i am possibly looking into getting new monitors and these seem like a nice alternative to the usual.

Thanks, Jamie

They are great....I have a pair that I use with my protools rig. Great sound....Great Bass.....IMHO the best total VALUE for monitors.

Do you have the big ones or the little ones?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the little ones (due to space issues on my desk).

Eden monitors

I just ordered some of the Eden EM3's - $147 for the pair (including shipping).

I would like to have ordered the EM5's, but my space is so limited in my starter/noob home recording setup that I'm still wondering if the EM3's will even fit. I'm not expecting pro quality from these little guys, but it should be a BIG improvement over the very poor computer speakers I currently have. The EM3's appear to be a perfect combination (for me) of reasonable sound, small package, and good price.

(Thanks for the GAS, neptoon )

Let us know what you think of them after you've had a chance to try them out, OK?

Eden monitors

I won a pair of powered EM 5's at an Eden clinic a few months ago.
I have connected them to my digital recorder....

They are pro quality and built very well and they sound great !

The Eden moderator did tell us that David Nordschow from Eden spent a lot of time developing this monitor series..
he went through a few designs before he settled on the current line...

You should be very happy with them..and they are not too expensive...

Hey guys,

Not to be too much of a stickler, but since there's another thread with the same name and similar subject matter, I'm going to merge them...

Thanks, Paul. I didn't look deep enough before I posted a new thread. I appreciate the housekeeping.

I wonder if they'll ship to the UK ? I have been looking at Fostex NX6As but i think they might be too steeply priced. These Edens really did catch my eye the moment i saw them !

Oh, thanks for reviving my thread

I dig how the inputs are marked "balance" and "unbalance"

Actually, they're pretty cute. And I did a double take when I saw that the price was for a pair.

Well, for anyone who's interested... The EM5's are sold out now, but (as if they weren't already cheap enough) now the EM3's are $70 a pair! I ordered me a pair tonight and can't wait for them to come in!

To each his own...

They're studio monitors, so I certainly don't expect them to sound like Eden's cabs. But sounding like Eden cabs (when you're a bass cab, not a monitor) ain't a bad thing, in my opinion.
