Elements of Firebox broken, troubleshooting advice needed.

Would naturally be posting this on the Presonus forums but their admins are a joke, I've been waiting on "activation" for three weeks now and still can't even make a post.

There are two firewire inputs on the back of my firebox, and only one apparently works....the other one won't give me a blue "sync" light to save my life.

Also the headphone jack is rickety, I have to leave the plug 1/4 of the way out of the input or I get no sound....it's a damned nuisance because if I pull on it it comes right out, yet to plug it in securely gives me no sound.

Do I have a lemon? I have done nothing bad to this guy yet, and had alittle under a year. Any advice on what my best move would be would be greatly appreciated, as I'm highly annoyed.

Have you called the company you bought it from or Presonus? Presonus has pretty good customer service.
