| Firewire Solo troubles

So I've had this M-Audio Firewire Solo box for a long time. I plug it into my MacBook Pro and record straight on to Garageband (I know it's far from the greatest setup but it's all I have).
Lately, The Firewire Solo has stopped working. All the drivers seem to be installed and my computer has icons on the desktop for the box. It refuses to recognize that there is any signal coming or going from and to the box, though. It's like the computer thinks it doesn't exist.
Has anybody else had this problem before? I know I'm not telling you much but it's all I know.... Any ideas how to fix it? |
