Disclaimer: Yea so this is a Gear and Equipment section but, not knowing whether this was Miscellaneous material, I placed it here and the mods can move it if they feel it's appropriate.
Here it goes: The title says it all. I will be recording a 4-song demo with my band (songs and order already in place!) this Wednesday and Thursday. (about 30 plus hours from now)
The givens: I will record the bass directly into the mixing console instead of using a miked amp and due to cost control (Wall Street Journal wording here, sorry) the band will play the instrumental parts simultaneously (like live, yeah) and record voices afterwards.
SOOO...
Any recommendations, suggestions, experiences??? What should I expect from recording in a studio in the conditions mentioned above?
Feedback appreciated. I'll check back on Tuesday (today...tomorrow??) night Spanish time...
