Furman PL-8 or Furman RP-8L

I'm looking to get a used Furman power conditioner and I found a place that has these two models on hand. They both have similar features with the rack lights but I'm not sure which model is the newer of the two.

I looked at some old threads here, but Furman has so many models out there it's hard to determine the order they came in.

Or could you just recommend which might be better based on features I might not know about. (Same price for each - $40)
