Getting a bass to work with RME Babyface?

Hi, i'm trying to connect my Bass to the RME Babyface soundcard but i can't see any action from it in the RME TotalMix FX, all i can see that's working is the microphone and my headphones on AN 1/2, nothing else, i've connected it to the special instrument connection.

Does anyone have a clue to what's wrong?

You need to change the setting in the 2nd channel to 'instrument'.
