Headphone recomendation

Recently bought an A series Hartke combo amp for late night practice, just wondering if anyone knew of a set of headphones that are especially great for picking up the low end for under 80 bucks.

do you want an actual representation of what the music sounds like or do you just want booming bass?

I've used Sony MDR-V6 headphones for years. I think you can still get them for $50-60. They're not the greatest, but you definitely get your money's worth.

Well i like to mess around with tunings, so i would like the option to have a warmer tone detailing the low end.
And thanks ill check the v6 out.

+1 on Sony MDR-V6. I've had the same pair since 1996 and they still sound great.

Sony MDR-V6, V600 or 7506. All good, all very similar, all feature comfort and over-ear coverage with good bass response, and all fold nicely for storage.
