Help with SmartMedia protection

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi! I need hel in protecting a SmartMedia card. It didn't come with any write-protect seal so I don't know how it should be. I mean, I tried to cover the write protect circular zone with different kinds and colors of tapes and it didn't work (my device, ZOOM 708II -a sampling multieffects for bass- recognizes write protection on the SmartMedia). How is this seal suposed to be? Any photos? Are they sold separately? Is there a home-made fix for this write-protect seals? Thanks so much!

OK, I finally found out myself. It has to be some silver plated paper (I mean, like the one you use for storing stuff in the freezer). I attached it with transparent tape but am looking for a better reusable solution (some silver adhesive ribbon). Thanks anyway...
