I'm looking for something to trigger samples and loops from my iPad. Ideally I could import and set up a bunch of labeled samples/patches, and then trigger and stop them with a button push. Some could be looped, some would be one-shot, and more than one could play at once.
And it would be solid and easy to use in a live environment. I want to use this to trigger sound effects and segues between songs.
Is there anything like this? I saw a demo of Akai iMPC, but I don't need all the drum-machine type features. |

It's wisest to loop on your computer and save as a single file
Search history - I posted this in aug/sept and received some good replies

It doesn't look like i can loop a sample until I stop it, am I missing something? |

For live performance, onsite looping is jive avd risky------- without tons of expensive gear
iPod garage band may do this - I'd still plan better
