Sounds good. Could be trouble on the ol' wallet.

I really loved my U5. It was one of those pieces of gear which, as I was selling it, I knew I'd be buying another one someday.

I am in a position where I need something like it right now but I've opted for a Groove Tubes Brick this time around. I'm very interested to see how it stacks up to my memory of the U5. It arrives tomorrow.

It arrived yesterday. Sounds really good with the Sadowsky but absolutely amazing with my Rob Allen MB-2. Haven't tried recording yet, just playing it through my studio (Avalon U5 -> Mackie VLZ-1202 mixer -> Mackie HR824's monitors).

Currently finding setting #3 the best for me, unless I want to slap n pop, then the scooped #2 really works.

It doesn't really do a lot - but that's what's so great about it!
